Once I was finally able to get to Los Angeles having weathered Hurricane Ike, I had an absolutely fantastic time!  Galacticruise 08 was a reality for me!!  Woo hoo! What a fantastic vacation!!  I haven't had that much fun in so few days in a long time... and I've been traveling A LOT this year. Started out on Wednesday heading to the airport and I couldn't get the grin off my face; I knew it would be a great vacation.  I called my friend, with whom I was spending the bulk of my time and we just giggled and squeeed endlessly. Well, I've finally gotten up the nerve to post my work here. I've known about the site for quite some time, but hadn't worked up the nerve to actually post.  I'm glad I've finally done it!  It's nice to get myself out there!  LOL I'm looking forard to interacting with people here and looking at more people's work.
